TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Registration Policy
In order to ensure maximum benefit to all participants, the following policies will be strictly adhered to. Please read them carefully (we strongly suggest you print a copy for your records).
Registration Cut-off Date
The registration cut-off date for each workshop will be three (3) calendar days after the first day of workshop. Registrations received after the cut-off date will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Top Three Book Workshop Tuition/Author Club Payment
For immediate online registration, tuition is payable in full with Visa, Mastercard, or American Express. The transaction will take place over a secure Internet connection; your personal information and credit card number will be encrypted so it cannot be read by anyone. We do not store or keep this data.
The charges on your credit card statement will be from AJ Harper.
If you have opted for a payment plan for your tuition, the full amount is due by Week 12 of workshop. Late payments will be subject to an administrative fee of $30 and must be made no later than 10 days from original payment due date. If tuition payments fall into arrears beyond 10 days, your workshop access will be paused until payments are caught up.
Cancellations & Refunds
Top Three Book Workshop
Your paid registration guarantees a place for you. Because of the digital nature of our courses and the fact that your place cannot be filled after the registration cut-off date, if circumstances do force you to withdraw, the following refund policies apply:
If you cancel before the start of the workshop, you are entitled to a full refund or placement in a later workshop with no refund issued.
No refunds will be given after the start of the course.
Failure to attend the course DOES NOT constitute an official cancellation. Verbal notification or a mention in a chat transcript will also NOT result in a withdrawal. To officially cancel your enrollment, an email must be received at [email protected] and cancellation confirmed.
“Forever” Access
We record our workshops and webinars, and offer access in perpetuity for all paying attendees. “Forever” is limited to the ability for the life of our hosting platforms and structures, and will make every effort to maintain access for the life of the host and the materials’ ongoing pertinence.
Author Club Subscription
Cancellation of your monthly subscription is the purchaser’s responsibility. You can either cancel by using the link on your original confirmation email or your monthly invoice, or by emailing us at [email protected] with the subject line “Canceling Subscription”.
We do not offer pro-rated refunds for monthly subscriptions. Any refunds issued will be less credit card fees issued.
Program Software Requirements
In order to participate fully in all workshop areas and activities, you will need a current Internet browser and access to Zoom, as well as Microsoft Word. Publishing will require that you become familiar with Microsoft Word, so we recommend getting used to it now. You will also need an email account to receive registration confirmations and workshop announcements. For your writing assignments, you will be assigned a Google Drive folder that is kept confidential between you and AJ Harper. All programs are hosted on Kajabi.
Workshop Confirmation
You will receive email notification of acceptance of your registration as soon as your payment is processed, with onboarding materials emailed to you in the weeks prior to the start of your cohort. IMPORTANT: You will not be able to access your cohort on the Kajabi interface until the workshop start date.
Intellectual Property Agreement
Members of the Top Three Book Workshop will be sent an email from RightSignature, confirming their agreement to the workshop’s stated rules. By agreeing to the Terms and Services as a member of Author Club, you, too, agree that ideas presented in our private setting belong to the originator of said idea.
Expected Comportment
We have basic rules of conduct that we expect all members of Top Three Book Workshop and Author Club to follow. In short, all members are to be treated with equal respect, regardless of race, creed, religion, sexuality or gender. We reserve the right to remove a person from workshop or Author Club if they are abusive, racist, or otherwise cause harm or disruption to other participants. Subscription/payments will cease and no refund will be awarded.
Tax Information
Current U.S. tax law permits certain deductions for tuition, books, supplies and similar expenses incurred to maintain and improve professional skills. Tuition payments may also be eligible for Lifetime Learning tax credits. For current tax information, always consult your local tax professional. (Please note that these are non-vocational workshops and are not intended to
provide instruction that results in the acquisition of occupational skills or professional certification).
International Students
Proficiency in English is required for all online workshops. There are no additional charges for students outside the U.S., but tuition must be paid in U.S. funds (all prices posted on our website are in U.S. dollars).
